Noah VanderVeen - Men's Track and Field
Junior indoor track and field jumper Noah VanderVeen (East Tawas, Mich. // Eas Tawas HS) tied for first place in the men's high jump competition with a final jump of 2.03 meters on day two of the Jet's Pizza Invitational.
The Cardinals will remain at home to host Northwood and Tiffin in the first Triangular Meet of the year on Saturday (Feb. 3) beginning at 10 a.m.
Lauren Huebner — Women's Track and Field
Lauren Huebner ( Saginaw, Mich. // Swan Valley HS) was the star of the show on day one of the Jet's Pizza Invitational, winning the women's indoor pentathlon and earned herself an NCAA Provisional with the final score of 3,307. This is the first year she has competed in multis and only her second pentathlon ever.
The Lady Cards will be back in action on Saturday (Feb.3) to host Northwood and Tiffin in the first Triangular Meet of the year.
